Applications for Illuminated Cabinets
Primarily used in outdoor locations mounted on the face of a building, incorporated into a monument or attached to a pylon. Illuminated cabinet signs are freestanding or wall-mounted signs that consist of a solid cabinet structure with an acrylic or polycarbonate face.
The face of the sign is typically translucent, allowing light to pass through from within the cabinet. LED lights are commonly used to illuminate the sign, providing a bright and uniform glow that enhances visibility.
How are Illuminated Cabinet Signs Made?
There are two primary ways we build cabinets at Hanson Sign. We either build with Sign Comp high grade aluminum extrusion components or we “Stick Build” using sturdy aluminum angle, bar stock and sheet goods. Our skilled staff of fabricators cut and then weld or bond with industrial adhesive to create very strong Cabinet bodies.
We install Principle LED modules unless you specify otherwise. We then sand and degrease thoroughly before sending to our downdraft spray booth for a high quality sprayed on application of the Matthews Paint system from PPG.
Finally, the Cabinet face is installed and the Cabinet is Illuminated for the UL inspection. Then we crate up your project and ship it off to your location for installation.
