Illuminated Cabinets: Installation

UL SIGN CABINET INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

(Single-Sided Wall Mounts)

• Uncrate/unwrap sign cabinet. Inspect for damage.
• Remove vertical side retainer using slot-tip screwdriver or ¼" hex-head bit.
• Carefully remove face by sliding out of cabinet.
• Drill out white alum. backing behind desired alum. bracket mounting holes.
• Mark & drill holes (on mounting surface) for support bolts and electrical supply lines.
• Mount cabinet to wall using 3/8" to ½" bolts.
• Connect electrical supply lines according to NEC, local electrical codes and in accordance with UL article 600 of the National Electric Code. This includes proper grounding and bonding of the sign. Final hook-up should be connected by a qualified, licensed electrician.
• Remove electrical tape from lamps in sockets.
• Test electric, re-insert face and re-install vertical retainer.

UL SIGN Double-Sided CABINET INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

(Between Poles, Hanging or Monument Applications)

• Uncrate & unwrap sign cabinet. Inspect for shipping damage(s).
• Remove vertical side retainer using slot-tip screwdriver or ¼" hex-head bit.
• Carefully remove 1-face by sliding out of cabinet.
• Mark & drill holes for posts or hanging hardware and electrical supply lines. We recommend this be done by a professional, experienced installer.
• Connect electrical supply lines according to NEC, local electrical codes and in accordance with UL article 600 of the National Electric Code. This includes proper grounding and bonding of the sign. Final electrical connections should be performed by a qualified, licensed electrician.
• Remove electrical tape from lamps in sockets.
• Test electric, re-insert face and re-install retainer.
