RE: Open Letter about Our Meet or Beat Pricing Policy
Dear Valued Customers:
We all understand these challenging economic conditions have placed a dramatic strain on our pricing and our ability to compete with some of our competitors who have drastically reduced their pricing.
We have worked hard over the years to ensure our pricing is competitive. But sometimes we have seen competitive pricing less than the actual cost of the materials needed for a project.
In cases when you received a reputable competitive bid and the pricing is less than our quote, we would appreciate the opportunity to see if we can “Meet & Beat” that pricing.
Fax us a copy of the lower bid, and we will review our quote and get back to you immediately.
Just like you, we do not want to lose your business over a one-time, low-ball bid and will do everything in our power to match and beat competition pricing. We also want to make sure the bids are equal (“Apples to Apples”).
At Hanson Sign Companies, Inc., we request at least two quotes on our material purchases so we can offer the most competitive pricing available. However, after many years of doing business with our present vendors, we want to make sure they have the last opportunity to get our business and make sure if we have a lower bid, our present vendors can review their pricing and re-bid if they desire.
So, please, if you have received a lower quote than ours, let us know and we will revisit our numbers and see if we can meet & beat the competition. Also, remember: We have been around since 1949—61 years (!) and we will be around for another 50. We are here when you need us.
